In 2019, the members of the Founding Board of the “Iranian Society for Clinical Nutrition”, considering the need for increasing public awareness in clinical nutrition, started their cooperation; and finally on 28 August 2021, the “Iranian Society for Clinical Nutrition” was established as a Non-Government Organization (NGO) with registration number 52141 and limited company with national number 14010256531 in Iran.
In the first term of this association, Prof. Mehdi Shadnoush, Professor of the department of clinical nutrition in Shahid Beheshti university of Tehran and the head of the disease transplant management center of the ministry of health and medical education, was elected as the chairman and Dr. Abdolreza Norouzy, associate professor of the department of nutrition in Mashhad university of medical sciences and the head of Iranian Nutrition Society, Khorasan Razavi branch, was elected as the CEO of the Iranian Society for Clinical Nutrition.
The Journal of Nutrition, Fasting and Health is a peer-reviewed open access, free journal.
JNFH provides publication of articles quarterly in a different areas of nutrition such as clinical nutrition, community nutrition, nutrigenomics, molecular nutrition, nutritional biochemistry, food health and safety, ERAS and also all aspects of fasting in health and diseases such as intermittent fasting, fasting health benefits.
